Boycott US

Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

I asked on Mastodon a few minutes ago if Alternativeto.net was going to add any country fields or badges in order to make it easier for users like us to choose and already got this answer! Feel free to go boost favorite/boost their answer here.

Amazing! I like the neutral wording as well. It would allow us to choose which product/services to boycott much easier. While products from isr will be boycotted by many, something niche like boycott of a product due to high tariff by one country over another will also be possible.

While that is true, a tag would allow for much more prominent controls (such as the button filters they have for open source and free) and for the use of the "tags:" operator in the search bar. But if an API was made available or if it becomes easy enough to scrape, then it would be good enough for an extensive use.

Maybe they can monetize API usage while keeping GUI usage free?
