Outgoing Greenlandic Prime Minister Mute Egede described the plan as aggressive, and said the duo had not been invited for meetings. Meanwhile, the island's likely next leader accused the US of showing a lack of respect.

Don't let them leave the US military base. Don't talk with them. Let them leave by airplane along the same flight path they used to arrive. Just my suggestion, as a US citizen. Sorry about this, it's extremely embarassing, to say the least.

Charge them extra for the fuel back. Do whatever will twist the knife a bit more.
