Absolutely fuck HP in every single way.

Everything they make is a gigantic turd. Get the fuck away from my games thanks.

Steam deck will always be king.

But at the same time I will use them as a stepping stone for better Linux adoption.

I will not use HP because I don’t like supporting terrorists

[–] BassTurd@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

Oh, I'm not buying them personally, they're dog shit, but if others do, I'll reap any benefits.

Ferrari are terrorists?

HP isn't bad in some areas

The problem is it is hard to know the difference between good and bad.

HP supports terrorist organizations. No. The entire company is bad and should be disassembled.

That's bad

But so is every other tech company out there really. Not to say that that we should ignore it but at the end of the day the scale of the problem is much bigger than HP. If I started not buying from companies with some sort of questionable history I wouldn't have anything to buy.

HP is a big company that's getting into Linux. I think that's good in general.

I hear you. I am mostly still salty about their printers so fuck them. But anything to boost Linux is a plus
