Commerce secretary Howard Lutnick suggested this week that only "fraudsters" would complain about missing a monthly Social Security check, and that most people wouldn't mind if the government simply skipped a payment.

oh, yes they will mind. will. they. ever.

hell hath no fury like a fixed-income senior, probably living check-to-check and barely getting by, not receiving the benefits they worked their lives for--accurately and on time.

and the only reason complaints won't be filed, is because there will be no one to receive and process them.
