The data comes from the U.S. Census Bureau’s household survey, so there is some statistical noise especially at the census tract level...

Well parking is crazy there and the mass transit works so why not. Need a car for a project or weekend? Just rent one. Less hassles than paying for license, insurance, registration and having to do maintenance.

The limitations are that you really can't have friends or family that are not mass transit connected. But who cares.
