You can't fix bad chemistry with a towel. (Insert your own toweley meme here because I can't)
Nvidia's borked solder balls is what caused this. The company's handling of the situation is why Apple stopped working with them, and only used AMD/ati until Apple started making their own.
I mean that's how I fixed my RROD.
