Well dude, think about it. She's out in the middle of nowhere, with some dude she barely knows. She looks around and what does she see? Nothing but conservatives. "Ah there's nowhere for me to run! What am I gonna do, not laugh at his jokes?"

The sexism that these women can't be just as awful as the men is fucking ridiculous in 2025.

They know what they signed up for, and they're actively choosing to go along with it every single fucking day. In many cases they're the driving force in the extremist views in the relationship.

I grew up in a very very "conservative" area. The women were often worse than the men.

Thank you! Her parents were college professors who seemed to support liberal ideals and she lived comfortably and is well educated. She did not need to marry this man. She is not some abused woman. He openly describes how growing up in a conservative evangelical house shaped him as person. He did not spring his beliefs on her.

The person who "helped" him write the book is the same one that set the two of them up and got her clerkships with Kavanaugh and Roberts.

If anything I'd say Usha is the one calling the shots in that relationship.

But she 100% is aware of what is happening and supports it.
