Czechs sometimes boycott Polish items (especially food) because they are associated with low quality. I don't get it, I love krówki. My mother does so to a weird extent sometimes. "Was this bike assembled in Poland?" she asked once.
Polish, not Polish!
Btw funnily enough I'm austrian, and my mum has associated Czech stuff with low quality, which I don't get either. Czech beer is my favourite, value wise.
There is some truth to both. There were some problems with companies using lower quality ingredients for products for the Czech market, because a lot of Czech people prefer low cost to quality (for understandable reasons). And as for Polish products, there are things in recent memory like the edible product that used technical salt instead of kitchen salt - that makes people wary, you know.
Luckily, with the internet, you can research almost any product to kind of gauge whether itll be what you want. No need to guess based on the country of origin.
I was so ready to make a Polish polish dad joke.
