Explanation: Julius Caesar was not an Emperor, though he did, as a matter of technicality, die more than 3 years ago.
The statue is of his adoptive son, Augustus.
The letter J wasn't even invented until the year 1524.
Therefore, Julius never existed in the first place.

Though he is known as Augustus, his name actually was Julius Caesar as well (he changed his name after his adoptive father passed away). So it is all technically correct.
