Thinking of getting this guy but I've never spent this much money on a knife and this guy seems so unique and useful. $230 is a lot though. What do you guys think on the value for this?

I would love to try out even the budget model to get the feel for it but I don't know if any local stores even have them and never even heard of a local knife store

Ah, well in that case, it's a tough decision. I'm lucky to be in realistic driving distance of smkw, so even if the most local shop doesn't have something, I can plan a trip.
