So I've been running like a mile each day for 3 days out of the week. But I've laid it off since I've been getting a lot of plantar fascitis, knee pain, and pain around my shins.

I'm not even that old. I'm very confused, maybe there are some exercises I can do? Went to a running shoe store and they recommended me some more cushioning shoes like a glycerin gts 22.

Any tips, recommendations, comments, or suggestions would be appreciated.

Damn I can relate to this. I've been running for about 18 months, and started to turn things up by training to do a half marathon distance, using the Runna app. Running 3x a week with a legs and core strength training, and my shins have just been getting more and more sore, to the point I had to give up at 10k during a 15k run. Ended up walking the rest of the way home. The plan has definitetly been pushing me harder than what I'd normally do so I suspect it's down to that.

Strava has a Recovery companion app where you can pick out what areas ache and then do some exercises for that. Going to try and do those daily and ease off the plan for now.
