Support the wrong dictatorship. You're only supposed to support the American one.
In thoery we shouldnβt support any dictatorships at all. But the average tankie poster will bend over backwards to fellate a dictator if they oppose the US.
It would be great if we could only support countries that were 100% good all the time, but tankies support countries that oppose the US even if they're far from good because they recognize that no socialist revolution of any kind is possible until US hegemony is broken.

Plenty of the countries they support certainly claim to be socialist, but end up just being authoritarian dictatorships with a different name

Lol no, tl;dr VodkaSolutions had commented "If, he [Trump] most likely goes down as the dumbest president of all the countries ever, even over the north Korean dictators" and that was removed by the .ml Tankie mods because he dared imply that NK was run by a dictator.
But straight NK propaganda is allowed to proliferate.

Meh, what's the big deal? Isn't it good there's an anti-US presence here? I like the intellectual diversity they bring, even if they're often insufferable jerks about it.
It's not so much the anti-US part, because honestly fuck the US gov and the shit they do lol, but more of the "China/Russia/NK can do NO WRONG/aren't actually authoritarian governments simply because they oppose the US" parts

Could you describe to me, in your own words, how the North Korean government functions and what elements make it a dictatorship? Because 99.99% of people who spout this nonsense don't know shit about fuck and uncritically believe every single lie about that country that they hear from any given Western propaganda outlet.
