People are paying their rent and buying groceries at the expense of everything else in their lives. You have your head buried in the sand if you actually believe people are better off than they were in 2019. Thats what voters remember, that's why Harris lost. The last thing people who are struggling want to hear is that 'm"inflation is going down. The economy is fine" when they can't afford their necessities any more.
