Eh, it just seems amusing to have a European-focused community on an instance which is neither in the EU nor on "the continent" :)
US communities like !news@lemmy.world and !politics@lemmy.world are hosted on a European instance, nobody seems to care too much 😄
Also feddit.org already hosts !europe@feddit.org , having this community on another instance isn't too bad decentralization wise 😄
Good points. I'm sure either would be fine! My preference is not a strong one, and my opinion is irrelevant anyway :)
