Mods may use discretion to pre-approve videos or press releases from highly credible sources that provide unique, newsworthy content not available or possible in another format.
7. No duplicate posts.
If an article has already been posted, it will be removed. Different articles reporting on the same subject are permitted. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners or news aggregators.
All posts must link to original article sources. You may include archival links in the post description. News aggregators such as Yahoo, Google, Hacker News, etc. should be avoided in favor of the original source link. Newswire services such as AP, Reuters, or AFP, are frequently republished and may be shared from other credible sources.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

I'm not the one who demands he has to do something but is unable to articulate what he is supposed to do. If someone makes an unclear demand, I don't think asking for clarification is beyond the pale. But I guess you do.
No, come on now, don't do that. Don't sit here and claim you were just "asking for clarification". We can all see the thread, we can all see how much snark you injected into that comment and the follow up replies. You weren't just asking for clarification, you were belittling someone you thought did something "wrong".
Please let me give you a bit of advice, if I may. Try and remember that pretty much everyone is suffering right now, and that a kind word goes a long way. Lead by example where possible, rather than trying to force people down a certain path. And try not to get too riled up if people don't follow your lead, because not everyone will.
Okay, well you know what I was doing better than I was apparently because I sure didn't think that's what I was doing.
Amazing how often people on Lemmy tell me that I'm doing things I'm totally unaware that I'm even contemplating.
Everyone is a Flying Squid expert except Flying Squid, who knows nothing about Flying Squid.
I promise you you'll have a much better time here when you realize that we're not all out to get you, and are all actually on the same side. Treat people like that, and most will return the favor.
Yet another thing I did not know about myself. I had no idea I thought everyone was out to get me. Because for all 47 years of my life, it never once occurred to me that I thought everyone was out to get me and so I have lived all those 47 years as if I didn't think everyone was out to get me.
So thank you for setting me straight and telling me that I need to live in fear because I actually believe something I had no idea that I believed.
