[Help] Free Pixel 4a battery replacement? (feddit.org)

So Google decided to swap out batteries for free on Pixel 4a phones. I have two of them running LineageOS without Google, but I'd really like some fresh batteries. But I don't know if Google will accept my phone. Did anyone already try to get the free replacement? How did you do it and how did it work?

If you bought your phone second hand, and haven't registered it with Google, then chances are that no replacement is possible.

I got mine from a secondhand phone shop, flashed Lineage. I tried to fill out the google form of Impacted Devices, but they told me that my phone wasn't registered with that google account.

So, I dont think there's much we can do.
