I was thinking the complete opposite for the speakers. When the desk is lowered to the sitting height for the chair, it looks like the speakers will be lower than ear level. I was actually wondering how OP likes this setup, and if it works good for them.

I agree, i was joking about that as the desk is pictured in standing position
