You've jumped to a conclusion. There's a reason I wrote democrat with a small d.
Can you point me in the right direction? I tried doing an internet search t understand the difference, but I’m missing the core concept you’re alluding to here.
The other commenter is correct, I meant democrat as in 'supporter of democracy in whichever of its incarnations' as opposed to Democrat as in 'supporter of the US Democratic party'. Sorry if my comment came across as a bit hostile
