They will take the path that leads them to the most profits.

For sure, via increasing prices not by selling snake oil

What part of our medical science do you doubt? You mentioned that they wanna ban vaccines so I reckon you trust them, what about surgeries, prescriptions? Maybe diagnostic tests?

What part?

Opioids are safe and not habit forming, according to the FDA.

Which opioids? Codeine? Wont even relieve your stronger headache

Out of curiosity, as a bioengineer, what do you think what opiods are?

Did you actually sleep through the last 25 years?

How the fuck dare you defend Purdue pharma and the FDA.

I am not? Maybe you should get to 2nd grader reading comprehension?

Dr Seuss is genuinely a great book even as an adult, no shame in reading it!

We must have got mixed up. I don't doubt medical science in any way. My point is that the corporations dealing the stuff would rather withhold an actual cure if it means it'll make them more money. Failing that, they'll jack up the prices.

Medical insurance and big pharma are two separate entities

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

You're right, one tries to kill you after they've extracted all your money, the other bribes journals and regulators to get you addicted to drugs that kill you after you can no longer afford them.

I genuinely wonder which one you meant for which? You know, if you don’t know what we are talking about you really don’t have to comment?

I get it, you're either a piece of shit vampire (anyone at all in the insurance industry), or you bought the lie companies do good things and just incidentally profit (ignoring the massive harm many pharma companies have done to the American people with the explicit support of the US government, as well as the basic concept of capitalism), but blatantly supporting pure evil like the banking, insurance, or pharmaceutical industries in the US is really a step to far. Get the fuck back to truth social.

When have I insinuated anything positive about them? Could you copy the sentence-s/words in?

Love, you are a mouthbreather! The kind of guy that I would actively avoid in fear of loosing neurons

Except that finding a cure for any disease would be insanely profitable. I think even health insurance companies would prefer that their members are healthy so they can just charge premiums without having to pay anything out. This whole "big pharma is hiding the cure for X for profits" conspiracy has always been garbage when you actually consider it for than a second
