Interesting that they are trying to use Bluesky to make it look like "this is now safe, because it is decentralized" when in reality BlueSky still has a centralized control and there's nothing stopping it to go the way Twitter did.

We already have PixelFed and loops.video

What happens to my account if my PixelFed instance shuts down abruptly? Do I have to DM all my followers to follow my new account? Or is this already a solved problem with ActivityPub?
