duuuuuude this was my first non apple machine. the turbo button pushed it from i think 12 or 14 to 16mhz

fav memories:

  • spent many nights groomin the 40mb hard drive for storage space...
  • so many TSRs!
  • my first database
  • first downloaded porn from local BBSs
  • banner printing on an old panasonic tractor-fed dot matrix printer
  • first voice synth! trying to get it to pronounce vowels/complex words was fun at the time

The turbo button actually slowed a machine down, not up. Common misconception.
