That's either a very heavy family or a lot of vacation gear! You would need all 4 people to be around 300lbs to start getting close.

A walrus typically weighs over 2,000lbs. An outsized one could weigh as much as 3,700. I think it's reasonable to assume that their family of 4 likely weighs over 8,000lbs. I would disregard the weight of supplies and equipment as being negligible, given that Walruses typically don't use much of that. Although, they also usually don't drive vehicles, so perhaps all bets are off at this point.
