Oh yes, that moment when you realize you know better than the teacher. That is a valuable lesson but also one that shouldn't go to ones head.
If it makes it any better that same teacher put a crack in my conservative upbringing by bringing to my attention the party swap. Good guy and frankly speaking it probably would've taken me till post 2020 to really shake it off instead of 2019, which may not seem like a lot but I should note that I am infact fueled by hatred as a baseline and that reactionary slop was cheap fuel for my fire. But thankfully I am now largely fueled by my own self supplied righteous furry, though that does make me some absolutely heinous and unhinged shit. But hey could be worse.
