So ultimately Ultron had to take over Vision... But I'm surprised at how easy it was. Did Vision just give himself over that easily? Or is there more going on? I thought Ultron would have to be much tricker to gain control.
I'm also a bit confused as to what the current plot is. Who is this Butcherbird character, now revealed as Jocasta by the subtitles.
I'm intrigued but lost.
Comic spoilers:
In the comics, Jocasta is created by Ultron to be his bride. This is obviously not the case here, but she’s basically female Ultron. She goes on to become her own character and an ally of the Avengers eventually… mostly because Hank Pym can’t stop messing with Ultron stuff. 🤷♂️
Every time she pops up it’s a “oh how is she going to malfunction this time?” kind of thing 😆
You explained it before I got to it.
I think this change to Jocasta’s origin was good and fitting for the current times and the MCU. Stark and Banner created Ultron in like hours/days and so it stands to reason that a group of smart people could do their own version much later, especially with so much tech and Ultron bots that had to have been recovered by various organizations.
Don’t forget all of the teases to the original Human Torch in this episode which might make a “return”
Yeah, I saw that and they even used his name. Is this different from what we saw at the Stark Expo in Captain America?
