When I was a kid, the fun-size candy bars were for me, and I gave the full size to my parents. I got to enjoy the variety without getting full as quickly, and I could scarf down way more of the small stuff before they figured out how much I'd eaten. The full size candy bars were merely a distraction for my elaborate heist of my own candy.
