Campaign mailers urging Ohio voters to support a socialist U.S. Senate candidate over Democratic nominee Sherrod Brown are being underwritten by a newly incorporated PAC with ties to Donald Trump’s MAGA Inc., public filings show.

The mailers are sponsored by Enough Promises Ohio PAC and began arriving in voters’ mailboxes in recent days. They promote independent candidate Greg Levy over Brown with messages such as “Join the Revolution” and “Send a Worker to the Senate.” Levy describes himself as “Socialist running for the U.S. Senate to represent Ohio in 2026” on his X account.

Levy condemned the fliers for falsely impersonating his campaign and engaging in “dirty tricks” designed to mislead voters. He said he is considering legal action.

At this point we don't need a coalition. We just need your type and MAGA gone. Period.

[–] toomanypancakes@crazypeople.online 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Then you can work on purging all the other groups you don't like!

[–] bobjones1665@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

I never said dead pal. Just if you're not going to be part of the solution, then just don't bother being part of the public discourse.

I remember being told my vote "wasn't needed" back in 2016 when you liberals lost to Trump the first time. You're an arrogant bunch who never learn from your mistakes because you'd rather blame leftists and play divide and conquer games. Which ironically makes you sound more like maga than leftists do.

Btw I did vote for Clinton (and Biden and Harris). But plenty of people aren't going to forget the way you liberals shit talk them and won't be as forgiving.

Liberals need every ounce of support they can get. It's crazy to me that despite the last ten years you'd still be dumb enough to tell people off and claim you don't need a coalition when you very, very obviously do.

Maybe try learning from actual leaders like Talarico who are able to appeal to all anti-fascists instead of being intentionally divisive.

No offense, but leftists are so unreliable, whiny, and useless most of the time that we might as well not even have your vote.

Leftists are the type that while being loaded into a concentration camp they keep yelling at least I stood by my convictions.

I detest Maga more than anybody, but at least they show up.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world -3 points 1 day ago (2 children)

We're "unreliable" because your policies suck.

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

You're unreliable because none of you fuckin vote in the primaries and most of you don't vote in the general. Now here's the part where you deliberately misunderstand how the system works to try to claim voting is pointless or some other accelerationist bullshit. You are getting the representation you're actively asking for.

I'm sure the Palestinians, Alex Pretti, Renee Good, the dreamers, the TPS Haitians, the Ukrainians, the Venuzuelans, Greenland, Canada, women in the south and Texas, black military who worked their way up, trans folks, and Taiwan agree with your stance.

Take your entitled white leftist ass back to the basement because clearly you don't care about the ramifications of the vote; just your feelings.

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

I voted for all of your numbskull neolib candidates and in the primaries. Also, joke's on you I was already in the basement

[–] Lileath@lemmy.blahaj.zone -4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

While you guys willingly would build concentration camps as long as one republican changes over to your side

[–] bobjones1665@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

"At LeAsT i StOoD bY mY cOnViCtIoNs."

Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit. It's honestly why black folk like myself just don't take most leftists seriously. You don't look at the big picture or the ramifications of your actions or lack there of and you continue to die on the hill of "my way or no way."

Just. Like. MAGA.

And Corporate democrats have been side eyed for two decades now but black folk don't have much of a choice as it's either those sad sack of shits or literal fascists who want us back in chains. Things that many white entitled leftists don't have to worry about.

And third parties are not an option here as we don't do a parliament system here where a third option can occur and actually win. That ship sailed with Ross Perot.

Blue MAGA behavior

Keep bootlicking centrists, I'm sure it'll work out any day now.

[–] edible_funk@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

"Blue MAGA" is a ruspublican psyop, it's just both sides rebranded.
