It’s a common misconception that a meme needs to include an image or be funny. It doesn’t.
Edit: I will also add this - criticizing people for posting content on Lemmy is shitty. We don’t have enough content. If you don’t like what I post, just move on. Or go post your own stuff.
This isn't an academic paper, congrats for meeting the letter of the definition while ignoring the spirit. You really should put the barest amount of effort into a joke of some kind, do you think we're all here to read a paragraph of screed? Posting better, not just posting more, makes Lemmy a better place.
