It is a divination form. You flip 3 coins a couple of times (or flip sticks originally I believe) and you get an answer in a very vague wise person way.
I believe it is based on an Asian book that was written a while back. It was popular back in the Eu about.... 25 years ago. Way easier than tarot reading. I never got into that - tho I do love the symbolism of the cards, I even wanted to make a set from scratch.
