At a rally in Nebraska Tuesday night, President Trump told his supporters exactly what he thinks about the well-being of the American people.

Trump first said that the price of goods and services, which have gone up thanks to his ill-advised Iran war and tariff policies, were “just a little bit high. It’s a small price to pay for keeping the world safe—keeping our country safe.

“They can take out a city. Let them take, let them take out Los Angeles. Let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay,” Trump said. “And it’s going to be over with very soon. It’s essentially almost over with.”

Conservative activists have argued that Trump didn’t really mean that losing the two cities is a “small price to pay,” but that he was referring to high gas prices. In that generous interpretation, Trump was arguing that his war, which has killed scores of civilians in the Middle East and an estimated 23 U.S. soldiers, is preventing Iran from waging large scale attacks on American cities. But Iran’s targets during the war have been U.S. installations in the Middle East, and it wasn’t targeting American cities before the war either.

California leaders, however, have taken his words at face-value.

Advocating for the mass death of his own citizens?

Much of Congress, sure, unless you're a "both sides" person, in which case fascism adores you.

Iran could kill every single politician in the USA, from the most unimportant one to Trump and the world would be a better place due to the USA collapsing

Political violence doesn't solve anything.

I consider myself a very left democrat. I'd probably align as a democrat socialist when it comes to policy, taxation, and spending. Both sides are not the same in terms of their policy. I find them to be the same in terms of corruption, although republican politicians are far more corrupt, and the corruption is on a larger scale.

Today's democrats capitulate to corporate interests far too often, at the expense of their constituents because of lobbying and campaign donations.

Today's republicans capitulate to corporate interests far too often, at the expense of their constituents because of lobbying and campaign donations, AND they want to take away our rights to abortion, and kill/deport anyone that isn't 100% straight, white enough to cry milk and fart chalk, and/or subscribe to their method of worshiping Jesus Christ. Republicans are also ok with rape, pedophilia, and foreign entities bombing large cities in California. They are truly a basket of deplorables.

Both sides are not the same, but I do hate both sides, albeit for different reasons. I would shed no tears if they were all wiped out in a catastrophic event, with the exception of Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, Jamaal Bowman, Cori Bush, Greg Casar, Summer Lee, and Delia Ramirez.

I don't have energy or passion to write a full reply at the moment, but we're probably 90%+ in agreement. Still worth fighting against "both sides" because fascism in power affects human rights way more than establishment (i.e. shitty) Democrats, much less progressives, although one does have to have sufficient numbers to really foment change. But anyway, I pretty much fully agree with ya :)
