The film, with the working title Pawn Shop, centers on an Antifa siege of a Minneapolis pawn shop amid anti-ICE unrest. On one side: an ICE agent joined by a group of pawn-shop employees and customers. On the other: a rabble of progressive protesters, and eventually a bloodthirsty MS-13 death squad, both intent on rescuing a Hispanic man detained by ICE. It plays out exactly how you’d expect it would.

The film’s first minutes will likely get the most attention. As Pawn Shop opens, two ICE agents in Minneapolis arrest the Latino man, later revealed to be an MS-13 boss. Dimwitted liberal activists film and scuffle with the agents as they try to take their suspect away.

Then the film’s Renée Good stand-in enters, slamming her Subaru into the ICE van. Described with the subtlety of a brick as “MELANIE (40), a fat blue-hair,” the woman, blasting NPR, revs up again and fatally hits ICE agent “Juan” with her car. Then his ICE partner, “Mike,” shoots her in a justifiable killing.

Yep it’s always intentional. And all these “liberal/far-left” sites that people think are outing the bullshit are just advertising for them. They always are.

They don’t hide their deceitful rewriting of events. They won’t be embarrassed to have the facts pushed in their faces. The damage is done. The idiots believe it happens the way they are showing it. So why give it more gas?

Every time I see articles like this. I instantly assume that it’s mad to help the far right spread their hatred.

Use it against them.

Why do you think I'm happy to slap fight tankies in the comments of a pro-voting post? Engagement keeps it on the front page.

I don’t bother arguing with those clowns. They never address the issue because they shit all over the discussion and then play victim when you call them out.

It’s a waste of time.

Much like the point isn't shitting on the movie we're discussing, the point isn't to convince the tankie either.

It's a performance for the third party that's passively scrolling by.

It also just so happens that tankies will almost always engage, and that puts the content in front of more people. That's why I would never argue with a tankie on c/latestagecapitalism and similar accelerationist/AstroTurf communities, but will happily do so on c/political memes

Which is why my point is to ignore them. Their performative shit serves no purpose other than to advertise their point. Calling it out only helps spread their dumb shit to other idiots.
