People bring their phones into the shower?!
Always wild concept to me. People bringing their $1000 electronics into an environment not made for them. Like come on, how long are you in the shower, do you really need to be entertained while washing your body?
you can find plenty of phones for $100-$400
I’ve noticed an increasing number of people that use their phone the entire time they’re at the urinal in public restrooms. This takes what? A minute tops? I’ve also seen people set it next to the sink to keep looking while washing their hands…assuming they even do to begin with.
That is some next level shamelessness, what the fuuuu—
Tech addiction is tough. When people don't like their environment they try to escape it and unfortunately the black mirror is there waiting for them. It's not productive but it provides comfort.

Back before smartphones, when everyone was bleaching the tattletale to get the phone warrantied after getting even a little water near it, there was a rumor going around. Kids with friends in Japan were hearing that people over there had waterproof cellphones and would be talking while in the shower. We were super jealous, not for shower talking, but for the feature. I’d think ICP rated phones today should be able to handle some humidity.
There are Insane Clown Posse rated phones!? I need one of those because I keep killing mine because I spill Faygo on it.

I've done it before. Time-constrained, watching something interesting.
These days I'll shower with a resistant earbud in, listening to music. I shower early/late and don't want the music to wake my partner. (probably less likely than the shower itself, but that's how i roll)
That's where all the best ideas come from!

Notthst I'm cheating with other women (seriously who can be bothered) my phone is locked with my fingerprint. As much as we share a lot in life I have not given her copies of my fingerprints so she couldn't unlock the phone anyway. In theory she knows the passcode but since she asks me for it every single time she needs to use my phone I'm recently confident she doesn't retain it.
My last partner and I had fingerprints on each other's devices just for convenience sake, mostly so that we can text on each other's behalf while the other was driving or in case of an emergency situation.
I would argue doing this right takes way more Trust than just keeping the boundaries up , and that I wouldn't prescribe it for most couples.
