True, and that's kinda my point; the OP is built on a false premise.
Plenty of people in this thread huffing pure copium that everyone who's ever been nice to me secretly hates me, when in reality some people like (ex-)cops, some are indifferent, and some dislike them. As you say, a rare % of the latter say something about it.
