@Kiriko @e8d79 thanks for the heads-up. I was two months from buying they expensive NAS.
I guess I'll stick with plan B: lots of Inexpensive Disks©, recycled PC and NetBSD (+ a donation to free software projects that are still made by humans, like NetBSD (or any other animal that learns to type text)).
