The amount of good things that happens in government is measured in how much control democrats have, and evil is measured in republican seats. If you have a senate with 42 good dems and 10 bad ones, that's a tough time, but if you have a senate with 42 good dems and 20 bad ones, you can get a lot of great stuff to happen. But most importantly of all, if you have 51 republicans in the senate, it will always be awful.
