It already has more views than the average weekly TV performance ratings for this show of around 1.5M views.
I wonder if the recent change in how views are counted is the real source of that. Instead of needing to watch a portion of the video, even seeing a single frame is counted as a view now, apparently even if it's just auto-playing from mouseover
I think what metrics we need to see are "engaged views" which is watching at least 30 seconds and "average watch time" for the interview.
