What does he even expect his chdren to do for him if a civil war did happen, if he died and they got his wealth, they just use it for their own devices even if they actually liked him (virtually none of them do it seems) , none would fight or die for that loser or any of his cronies.

He just thinks he's exceptional and should have as many children as possible. That's it.

Any other justification for that thought process comes after, not before.
