The other day one of my friends mentioned the SNES game The 7th Saga. We talked about how hard it was and despite all of us playing it back in the day, none of us ever beat it.
So, one thing leads to another and now we're in a race to see who can beat 7th Saga first. Most of us had old saves to pull from, so it's a shotgun start. I think I'm winning, but there's a long ways to go.
You’re getting downvoted because 7th Saga came out in the standard lifecycle of the SNES. It was for sale in stores back then.
The games were trying to discuss were made more recently. Full Quiet, Dungeons and Doomknihghts, Traumatarium, Glory Hunters, such like that.
Yeah. I misunderstood the question. No worries.
I beat it in 1997 or 98. What a fucking slog that game becomes.
It could have been a great RPG if they had balanced the xp better. Each stage of the game REQUIRES at least 3 hours of non stop grinding before you can move on to the next town/dungeon.
