OK I'm confused. Please tell me the USA are NOT claiming it as their territory?

Everything is American territory. We claim our own land, to an infinite height and depth at all angles. So, the universe.

Oh, God no. That's almost all just embezzlement. Getting mocked repeatedly by Iran and not being able to do anything about it other than bluster and blow up innocent kids in school sort of points out how little of the US "war" budget goes to actual expenses.

We live in harsh times, people are at their limit and lashing out. I try to be understanding about stuff like that. But it does happen more than I'd like.
