Protip: if you find something heartbreaking, it is not a shitpost.

Also, content policing on a platform as small as Lemmy makes no sense. This also isn’t the first snarky, smart-ass comment you’ve left on my posts, which is also weird.
Yeah dude, lemmings will follow you around and downvote all your comments if you call em out for stupid bullshit, or even just generally disagree with them. God forbid you manage to trigger a tankie brigade, they'll follow you around for a month with alts and sockpuppets.
This is a very distressing picture, and a incredibly sad topic.
"shitpost" is generally understood to have humor as one of the defining characteristics.
So, i'm sure you can see that this might make people point out that this might be the wrong area for this, and frankly can seriously harsh someones buzz if they just want to look at some fun memes and get a left hook right in the feels.
Pretty sure the defining quality is the "shit" part of the name. Aka low quality/effort.
Shitposts don't need to be funny or interesting. Look at the whole corn, jeans or beans posts.
And judging by the amount of both praise and hate she's getting, I'd argue that Violet is one of the best shitposters in this community.
I try to write what I think directly, no snark or smart assery intended, I just don't want heartfelt posts about serious stuff mixed up in my genuine shitposts.
Dude or dudette, have a little respect for the shitposting community. This is not a shitpost.
