Also, insurrectionist aren't allowed to hold office, but the Supreme Court said, "Meh, as long as the people are willing to vote for one, it's cool." The one about term limits is more obvious, so it's a more blatant potential violation, sure, but the current Court has already shown a willingness to ignore the Constitution if it benefits their guy.

The birthright citizenship case really made it obvious. Three judges straight up said “I will ignore the explicit text of the constitution if the right person wants me to” and they’ll do it again

Their reasoning could be used to allow Zohran Mamdani to become president - after all, immigrants aren't supposed to become presidents either.

Of course, the SCROTUS will be hypocritical about this...
