Combined with the fee increase to 10%, this seems like an effort to boost profitability for an IPO.
Set the clock for when they boot adult content.
Unfortunate that the plan is to go public. Ideally the people who run it would be valued as stewards and curators instead of interchangeable cogs.
I hope to see one of these DIY platforms eventually become a cooperative.

Not patreon style but etsy style, I have hope for Mayhem Marketplace. There's also a POC run marketplace that's supposed to be co-op but I haven't seen anything on it recently and can't remember the name.
I will start asking creators I support to switch to Ko-fi.
I wish they'd just switch to Zelle...
