I looked at the block list and I’m not in it.
I think my conservative community gets filtered out though.

I think it’s mostly because I’m known for well-thought out contributions to the communities I post in.
I am very glad my coworkers can't hear me laugh, would not want to explain why I laughed at this.

Some megamod mass banned me from a bunch of random communities which is annoying, basically reddit behaviour

Especially because from my instance, I can't conveniently block communities that I'm banned from. The block button disappears when banned. I have to go into my settings and manually add the name of the community to my blocklist.
So, yeah, it's pretty annoying when a community I've never even heard of before pops up in my feed and I'm already banned from it, so then I have to open up the manual block list settings...
I've been banned from unrelated communities for having an opinion one of their mods didn't like. I'd understand if it was because I posted in that community. At this point people are banning me because my mod log has allegations of transphobia and stuff (the admin of my instance I believe is trans, we've discussed things, they've helped me speak about certain subjects in a gentle manner, I don't have any ill will towards transgender people, it's just terminology I used was seen as offensive) which is just a weird cycle of being banned because I have a "mark" on me from what was likely a misunderstanding or overzealous mod years ago, or me discussing things from a theological perspective and it wasn't actually what I believed politically either.
I've (apparently) got on one power mod's bad side just by downvoting a few of their AI slop posts.

None. Which makes this even stranger. Not only am I on the list, this guy for whatever reason anticipated that I might make alts with different numbers after my name.

It's so funny they put a regex on my name in case I decide to make a new account with numbers on the end. Something which I have no history of doing.
They can't even write regex properly.
The only difference between
([0-9]+)?and[0-9]*is that the latter actually readable.There are also a bunch of names that don’t have the $ terminator, and will match anyone whose name starts with that.
The fact that they didn't just vibecode this by throwing in the dubvee ban list (I believe is a source or similar) is just even more sad. Yer man sat there listing out 500 people on lemmy he doesn't like bg hand.
