I'm sorry, are you seriously suggesting that they would ever put the ring ON the chicken? Then you'd have an evil invisible chicken! After a while, the chicken will waste away into shadow and become a Nazgul.

I would consider myself a Lord of the Rings fan, I've read the books maybe 3 times through and read The Silmarillion once.

I forgot the ring makes people invisible.
