People like you are why we're here.
Cope and seethe. Come and kill my like your much hated tech CEO. The situation in the US isn't pleasant for sure and I'm happy not to be US-citizen. But if you tolerate lawlessness in this area it might erode in others. I don't like the way many big corporations operate. People that are politically active and support your cause with non-violent means are critical to achieve anything in democracy. Otherwise you might just repulse the ones who would otherwise agree on sane policies.
I would argue people like me is why stuff still functions. I don't just go up to my political opponent and kill them. We are one society and we can't let the polarization come too far
It's called a Class War for a reason. If the USA is any indication everyone else should be spurning the rich and right quick. Add in can't argue with Nazis, they only know and respond to violence.
If you had the masses behind you they would vote in their best interest but you don't. If you try to accomplish this stuff without the support of the masses you lack legitimacy and it becomes tyranny. The masses have the power to change things and it doesn't need war for it. If you claim to speak or act in the interest of the masses without actually gaining their vote then you are actually putting your opinion of whats good for them above them.
You really need to read up on the history of American politics. You are a product of propaganda. Everything you are saying is entirely detached from reality.
Never have we as average people gotten rights, benefits, and good will from the wealthy. History is full of taking out owners of their houses and killing them or breaking their legs. Of burning down factories, of have a literal military engagement with protesting coal miners.
We have gotten those things from them, many times, when we used bricks and bullets to rip them from their cold dead hands.
Well was more saying they didn't give them willingly. We had to take them by force.
If you say so it must be true. The guy basically comparing every rich person with a nazi and calling for violence against them. But no, I'm the brainwashed one. Man what am I doing on this platform. The election system in the US is fucked up tho, I'll give you that. Your country voted Trump twice. How dumb can an electorate be? I'm european but have been a year in the US. The raw form of capitalism america employs is very problematic and not in the interest of the general population. Killing people until the system changes is not a societal movement. Thats still called terrorism. You guys have a constitution and a democracy that protects you. Your crooked government abuses the system but it can still be fixed. Killing CEOs won't fix the root cause. I understand the term Class War in the US context a bit more, but it doesn't need violence. You know who used violence? The Jan. 6th protestors. I bet the people on the side use similar arguments for their crooked ideology. From the outside I see this polarization and unwillingness to work with one another as the very breaking point of a country. The once oh so exceptional United States of America. If the violence leads to a civil war chances are the outcome won't be better than what was. People need to reach across the aisle. MLK is the one who lead the mass movement for rights of black people not Malcom X. Its always very easy to tell the other side they are uninformed or uneducated when you run out of arguments. I hope and believe you guys can still salvage your democracy. If you take up arms and violence, the other side will always reciprocate, remember.
MLK was also an avowed socialist and spoke poorly of capitalism but they gloss over that in history. You sound like someone with enough privilege in their life that they haven't had to learn the hard truths of what exactly it's like to live in the USA. Especially if you're a minority or other out groups. This country has always been hostile and killing people in those groups. Stonewall was a riot and damned if we don't need another!
I'm not against integrating socialist policies nor praising capitalism am I? I'm just against violence and murder especially.
The entire USA history has been about violence against the poor and marginalized. You don't seem to realize we never peacefully protested our way into rights or similar. Even MLK knew he needed a Malcom X, even if MLK wasn't going to tell people to be violent, the guarantee of that violence is an incentive to listen to peaceful people. That's why the No Kings Protests don't work, why most ICE protests don't work. There's no bite to the bark. Trump is still working like an autocrat with GQP backing and ICE still kills people, especially prisoners as we speak.
Please don't give Trump a reason to suspend midterms or to use the military against his own people. The protestors stand no chance once violence leads to Trump getting the military involved. Protests don't work instantly but Trump and ICE are seen very unfavorably by the populous. Don't let anyone tell you protests have to effect. I guess the Maidan protests in Kyiv ended up turning violent after what the government did attacking protesters and that was a success. But people need to be in unity. I fear the US is too polarized. We will hopefully all see the end to outlive these petty autocrats. The checks and balances weren't as strong as people thought they were, thats for certain
He's already going to fucking do it. What are you going to do when he does so, hold a sign up?
They're not even from the USA. People hate it when most people in the USA try to lecture them on how to run their country, but the opposite doesn't meet the same hostility it rightfully should.
Quick question, which agency killed MLK?
And also lol, lmao even
What the fuck do you think every one of America's wars has been about? What were they doing in Vietnam, what did they do to every Arabic country they went into /have been going into?
Most of these incidents were horribly unsuccessful, I don't know how this proves your point?
What you've been suggesting is that the American entity can use violence to enact it's will upon the world and upon its people, but those same people are not allowed to use violence to stop the entity from enacting said violence against them.
Im merely giving a couple of examples where america has used violence to change a system.
You know, like Cuba, where they shut off every drop of oil and use their navy to steal it, with the direct aim to make life so bad that the citizens revolt and overthrow their own government so that america can sweep in and save the day with their own very agreeable and way less communist leader.
And Venezuela where they used the extrajudicial abduction of a country's leader to test out their new "melt their eyes and brain out of their face" weapon on the guards
And in their own home state Philadelphia where they made up a justification in the mass media, then dropped a firebomb on a black residental area for the crime of being a bit too communist
And Iran, leading to them also killing the government they installed the first time they did a 'regime change' because the ayatollah at the time wanted to nationalise his country's natural resources, and the agencies didn't like the fact that americah didn't control it.
And in a number of middle eastern countries where the americans and their allies managed to replace the Taliban... with the Taliban.
Oh you dont even live here. Kindly fuck now.
Lawlessness? My squirrel in Ratatoskr the CEOs do not and have not ever given a single fuck about the law outside of how they can break it and shape it to exactly what they want. Why is THEIR lawlessness the kind we should tolerate?
Nobody should have to tolerate lawlessness. CEOs and companies have more resources in court but it doesn't mean they are above the law or anything
I don't know what kind of world you live in the believe that. Have you ever have to fight a entity at the scale these big tech companies can afford?
You're going to go broke and they will stall you harass you and send you endless frivolous claims to the point you cannot do anything. Even worse is they have enough money where the courts and cops are on their side.
Our president, a billionaire CEO, is literally avoiding jail time by trying to stay the president as long as possible. Come on.
Your president is corrupt thats for sure. Any government cleaning up after Trump has the work cut out for them. Trump himself will probably never face proper justice as he is too old and won't live forever. Its very obvious how problematic the things are in the US. So rights need to be defended and political grassroots movements formed. Currently there is a lot of corruption but I hope this will not go all unpunished.
ok russian plant.
