Their obsession with FOMO killed my interest in their games and from that article I can tell they are still doing it and it’s their own fault. This isn’t some corporate mandate. They’ve been doing it since original Destiny. Just make a fucking game and let us play it. Stop time gating shit.
Not to say that’s the reason their games are failing. It’s just how I feel.
It’s the same reason I never played Fortnite. If I have the log in for some FOMO event I’m out. I’m here to play a game not get some exclusive SUPREME merch drop.
At this point, if the game tries to sell me a hat even once, I've got no interest in it.
