Any experience with renting carpet cleaner machine? (feddit.nl)

Thinking about to cleaning the carpet this summer but unsure renting a carpet cleaning machine is the way to go or I should just get a machine. Anyone has tried renting one and would you recommend the store your rented it from?

Thank you for the info. Will look into it a bit more. I think the "can access the unit quickly to clean up the mess." Is why I am considering of purchasing. Thanks again.
