Ben Franklin has always historically know to be dtf at any time any place
Probably with his slaves too.
I give Franklin some grace on slavery. He had slaves because he thought Africans were genetically inferior to Europeans and incapable of serious education, but after visiting one of Dr. Bray's schools for black children he changed his tone and eventually became president of the Abolitionist Society.
People can change!
