So. Apart from the obvious which is leaving it in gear so it dosnt roll back does anyone have any recommendations for a ground anchor that ALSO holds one of the wheels tight so I don't have to leave this on the side stand? I want space to get the bins etc. past easily.

(I'm assuming that is safe to do?) - like you see push bikes in parking racks.

Does the bike not have a center stand?

Then you need either a bolted down chock or one of those paddock stands that lifts the wheel by your axle bolts. You could always lean it on that wall like a dirt bike on a tree, handlebar to the wall.
