Speaker Johnson has lost the plot entirely. His comments are showing consistently he has neither empathy nor perspective regarding the working class experience, and working class concerns.

Johnson has become a running trend of let them eat cake.

Yes, but his betrayal of the US public and his own constituency is a conscious choice. I think his recent comments show he's unaware of his appearance to the public.

Without the massive propaganda machine that keeps people voting Republican via social pressure, he would not be able to retain his position.
