I lose my parts phones often (and usually find them in unusual places). But I never lost a thing I actually used semi-often.

But I do drop phones all the time (I also dropped my Redmi's bare motherboard ~2 times while repairing it (somehow it survived without problems)). I cracked one screen glass on a Samsung a12 last year (a really shitty phone), it's still fully functional (but not mine anymore). I also cracked an LCD of a Huawei P20 lite (which I would probably still be using if it was in a working condition). Now I use a Redmi 4X. It was old when I got it and survives literally everything (except any mild motherboard temperature changes (weirdly)). I'm not replacing it until it's irreparable since I can't take care of stuff.

Edit: Also had a Mi 11 Lite 5G with severe motherboard problems, which isn't important in this context. Fuck the new Xiaomis.

somehow survived

There's no reason it wouldn't lmao, a falling phone board has both tiny weight and shitty aerodynamics.

But also no protection whatsoever. I'm not that optimistic about it.
